Evidence Suppressed in Illegal Police Search

The Law Offices of Ross Green is happy to announce a recent victory in which a San Mateo County Superior Court judge threw out the evidence due to an illegal police entry into a family home. Looking for a wanted suspect, Daly City Police took off a window screen and pushed aside the curtains to illegally contact the occupants of the home and look for the suspect. After waking up the frightened residents and ordering them outside, the police entered the home without consent or other legal justification. The case is set for next week where it is anticipated it will be dismissed.
